All City of Archer City Dog Licenses must be renewed by May 1st of each year. The City reminds its citizens that it is a requirement that all dogs over the age of four months must be licensed and proof of a current rabies vaccination must be presented at the time of licensing.
The focus of Ordinance 182-E is to make neighborhoods safe for people and animals. The City of Archer City strives to address the dangers and nuisances caused by unrestrained dogs.
Per Ordinance 182-E, any person in possession of a dog that is more than four (4) months old shall obtain a license from the City of Archer City at a fee of $5.00 per license. You must show proof of current rabies vaccination. A separate license is required for each dog and must be renewed annually during the month of April.
